The Seafood CRC has provided a number of unique training opportunities just for our R&D providers.

Industry Participants are also welcome to take part in the CRC's research training initiatives! The training initiatives conducted just for R&D providers since 2007 include:

About the Project

The CRC held a training workshop just for the CRC Post Doctoral Research Scientists on the 12th December 2008. The aim of the training was for the Post Docs to get to know each other, to learn about the background of the CRC and what the CRC is expecting from each scientist. It also aimed to give each Post Doc a chance to be familiar with the CRC and its processes and to have more confidence in developing and managing projects.

The training focused heavily on how to develop research project proposals in the CRC.

About the Project

During July 2008, the CRC conducted a grant writing workshop for participants and the seafood industry in general. This workshop was held in Canberra and was developed and conducted by Seafood Services Australia
