What do Australians really think about throwing another shrimp on the barbie? Are Australians scared of seafood? Dr Dawn Birch and Associate Professor Meredith Lawley from the University of the Sunshine Coast have brought together their considerable consumer research, recently conducted on behalf of the Australian Seafood CRC to answer these questions and more, resulting in a facinating series of short presentations called Fish Bites.
The aim of the Fish Bite Series is to disseminate the findings of extensive consumer research, to develop a richer understanding of Australian consumers' attitudes and behaviours with respect to seafood consumption and to discuss practical implications arising from the research findings. More detailed consumer research findings are available to Seafood CRC members in the Seafood Omnibus Reports- wave 1 and wave 2, the Retail Transformation Report and the Repositioning Farmed Barramundi Report.
